Auto Body & Collision Repair Victoria, BC
Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
Yes – appointments are required for all estimates. This ensures we dedicate the proper time and attention to your vehicle and provide the most accurate assessment possible. While we do our best to accommodate walk-ins when possible, they cannot be guaranteed. We reserve an hour for your estimate, and appointments can be booked online, or by calling us at 250-386-8545.
What do I need to bring with me to the Estimate Appointment
Please bring your insurance claim number, vehicle insurance papers, and contact information.
Do I need a claim before bringing my vehicle in?
If your repair is going through insurance, you’ll need an ICBC or private insurance claim number first. You can file a claim online or by phone with ICBC or your private insurer. Once you have your claim number, simply bring it to us, and we will take care of the rest.
Do we accept a vehicle that is non-driveable?
Yes, but availability is limited. We manage a scheduled tow-in list, so please contact the office to be added and receive further details.
Do you work directly with ICBC and Private Insurance?
Yes. We work directly with ICBC and most private insurers. Once you provide your claim number, we mange the estimate, approvals, and communication so you don’t have to.
Customers with private insurance need to inform their adjuster before the estimate appointment that Parker’s Autobody will be doing the estimate.
Will ICBC pay for my repairs directly?
Yes. ICBC will pay accredited repair shops directly for the approved repairs. You are only responsible for any deductible or non-covered items.
Do I have to pay a deductible?
If your claim has a deductible, it is typically paid to us when you pick up your vehicle. The deductible is the portion of the repair cost that is not covered by your insurer.
In some cases, depending on fault and coverage, you may not have to pay a deductible.
Can you help with non-insurance repairs?
Yes. We’re happy to provide a detailed estimate and walk you through your options. If not going through insurance, you will be responsible to pay 100% of the repair costs.
Do you offer courtesy cars or help with a rental vehicle?
If your policy includes “Loss of Use” coverage, you may be eligible for a rental vehicle through your insurance.
On the day you drop off your vehicle for repairs, we’ll arrange for the rental company to pick you up and take you to their location.
We also have courtesy cars available. To access a vehicle, you must have active comprehensive and collision insurance and at minimum an N licence.
How long will my repairs take?
Repair times vary depending on the extent of damage, availability of parts, and insurance approvals. When the estimate has been completed, we’ll provide a timeline and keep you updated throughout the repair process.
